We regret to inform that the seafood seminar is postponed to October 2nd. The Ministry of Health have issued a recommendation that "all non-essential large-scale events should be cancelled or deferred".

We are pleased to invite you to our seventh annual Norwegian seafood seminar in Singapore on Friday, October 2nd 2020. At this event, we aim to create a platform where key players of the seafood industry, from local importers, hotels and restaurants, Norwegian seafood exporters, and market experts, can engage in dialogue and information sharing on developments in the Norwegian salmon industry, seafood exports to Singapore and the Southeast Asian region, and global seafood consumer trends.

This year, the seminar will feature Anne-Kristine Øen, the CEO of Salmon Group and Hans Petter Næs, the Communication Director from Norwegian Seafood Research Fund. They will address the issues of food safety, algae boom, animal welfare, sustainable fish feed, and R&D in the Norwegian fish farming industry. The Seafood Council's director for Southeast Asia, Asbjørn Warvik Rørtveit, will give us insights into the market development and how we work to increase the value of Norwegian seafood in Singapore and the region. In addition, Chris Guldberg, the Director of Communications and Public Affairs of the Seafood Council, will be sharing how the Norwegian Seafood Council works to proactively ensure a positive reputation and effective crisis management together with the Norwegian seafood industry.
