In addition to the Norwegian Millitary Academy he has a masters degree in Mangement and Organization from the University in Tromsø. He has served 13 years in the Norwegian Army in different positions in Norway and Afghanistan. In the period between 2004 to 2015 he was working in the Norwegian Seafood Council as Communication Director and Director for South-East Asia. Chramer returned to the Seafood Council in 2022 from The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO). Since 2015, he has held various positions as has been Regional Director, Communications Director and Director of Communications, Society and Regions.
