The Norwegian Food Safety Authority will start a test period for health certificates in e-signed PDF format with Vietnam on March 4th.
The possibility for digital exchange of health certificates is getting a new addition. Starting from March 4, 2025, testing of e-signed PDFs to Vietnam will begin. During the test period, the importer will receive both a paper certificate and an e-signed PDF. The test period, which requires the issuance of both conventional and digital certificates, will last until the Vietnamese authorities accept the transition to purely electronic exchange of PDFs.
