    Decline in seafood exports in May

    Norway exported seafood worth NOK 13.6 billion in May. This is a decrease of NOK 267 million, or 2 per cent, compared with May last year.

This demand for transparency is paving the way for producers to harness innovative blockchain technology to build consumer trust and offer a clearer picture of the seafood supply chain.

    Value growth for Norwegian seafood exports in April despite trade unrest and falling salmon prices

    April was the fourth consecutive month where the largest value growth was to the USA. In total, Norway exported seafood worth 1.4 billion kroner to the USA in April. This is an increase of 23 percent compared to April 2024.
