Over the past five years, South Korea has developed from being a peripheral market to becoming an important export market for Norwegian seafood

In 2016 Norway exported 58,000 tonnes of mackerel, salmon and crab to South Korea for a total value of NOK 2.1 billion.

The Norwegian Seafood Council will participate with a exhibition stand at Busan International Seafood Expo (BISFE), where we will convey the findings of a seafood study conducted in 2017.

Busan is the most important fishing port in Korea and an important meeting place for the industry. BISFE holds several seminars and symposiums related to the fair, and NSC will participate in several of these venues.
