Welcome to the third “synchronized swimming” webinar from the Norwegian Seafood Council in the USA, where leaders from Norway and the US meet to discuss industry matters of particular interest and importance.

This time we are putting food waste on the agenda. «Fishing for food waste solutions» is a meeting between American dietitian Melissa Joy Dobbins, and Norwegian “food rescuer” Mette Nygård Havre.

Our speakers are both strong communicators, and active advocates for limiting food waste.

It is estimated that one-third of the world’s food is lost or wasted. In America it is estimated that 1,7 kg of seafood per inhabitant is wasted every year. How can we change this unsustainable pattern?

Tune in to this interesting conversation.
