The Norwegian Seafood Council invites Norwegian seafood exporters for a seafood seminar and joint participation at Thaifex 2019.
For the fourth year in a row, the Seafood Council will be attending the Thaifex food fair in Bangkok, Thailand between May 28th and June 1st.
Thaifex is the largest fair of its kind in Thailand and has its own seafood department called "World of seafood" where the NSC will have its stand.
The fair attracts business operators from all over the region and is thus a good venue to meet both new and existing business associates. The experience of Norwegian exporters who participated last year was very positive, and we look forward to repeating it this year.
This year's Norwegian seafood stand will be bigger in size than last year. The stand will be built up around the Norwegian origin. Norwegian exporters are welcome to use the NSC stand and its facilities.
Participating companies may choose to join the NSC stand, or set up their own individual stands inside the NSC stand at an additional cost. The individual stands will have printed on them the company's names and logos, be 9 sqm. in size and have the opportunity to share their own marketing materials as brochures. We ask, however, that the companies do not display their own products or give out tasting samples, as tasting samples will be organized by the NSC. In connection to Thaifex 2019, the Norwegian Seafood Council will hold a combined Norwegian Seafood Seminar and Dinner the preceding evenin.

The seminar will be held in English, and leading actors from the value chain in Thailand will also be invited to join.
The seminar will contain information about market, development and trends that are important for Norwegian seafood in Thailand. The seminar will have a duration of approximately 1.5 hours.
The exhibition, seminar and dinner are free of charge for Norwegian exporters. Further details about the program will be released at a later stage.
