The yearly seafood seminar in Kuala Lumpur will be held on Friday, October 11th.

The Norwegian Seafood Council will be organising its annual Norwegian Seafood Seminar on 11 October 2019. This seminar is well participated by key seafood industry players in Malaysia and governmental agencies. The seminar provides updated information on the latest Norwegian seafood export numbers, key results of Seafood Consumer Insights as well as current market trends in retail and food service industry.

The seminar will be followed by the annual Seafood Gala Dinner hosted by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Malaysia. The dinner will take place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on the evening of 11 October 2019. This highly anticipated yearly event will feature a spectacular seafood buffet, provided by renowned chef Frank Naesheim and his team. Composed entirely of seafood flown in from Norway, the buffet is the result of an extraordinary collaboration between chefs from Norway and Malaysia, blending skills and traditions from the two countries. This Gala Dinner has become an annual highlight for the Norwegian business community in and around Kuala Lumpur, including important seafood industry players in Malaysia ranging from seafood importers, retailers and HORECA, a perfect networking platform for Norwegian exporters.
