Strong growth in Norwegian salmon exports
Norway exported salmon worth NOK 4.3 billion in September. An increase of NOK 780 million or 22 per cent compared with September 2014. Exports by volume rose by 5,000 tonnes, or 6 per cent, to a September total of 95,000 tonnes.

Record figures for Norwegian codfish exports
Norway has exported cod, saithe, haddock and other groundfish to a value of NOK 9.5 billion year-to-date. This is NOK 1 billion, or 12 per cent more year-on-year. During the same period the export by volume decreased by 14 per cent, primarily due to lower volumes of frozen whole cod.

Norwegian mackerel exports down in September
Norway exported herring, mackerel and other pelagic fish to a value of NOK 3.7 billion so far this year. This is a decline of 6 per cent compared with the same period last year.

Record growth continues in August
Norway exported seafood worth NOK 5.3 billion in August. This represents an increase of NOK 593 million or 12 per cent compared to August last year. Year to date seafood exports have reached NOK 45.1 billion. An increase of NOK 2.9 billion on the same period in 2014.

Salmon exports grow in value in August
Norwegian salmon exports totalled NOK 3.7 billion in August. This represents an increase of NOK 411 million, or 12 per cent compared with the same month in 2014. Exports by volume were reduced by 3,700 tonnes, or 4 per cent year-on-year, to 80,000 tonnes.

A strong month for codfish
Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other whitefish products to a value of NOK 835 million in August. An increase of NOK 15 million or 2 per cent compared to August 2014. There has also been a decrease of 22 per cent in export volumes, particularly of frozen whole cod fish.

Cod export reaches new heights
Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other types of whitefish for a total of NOK 6.7 billion in the first half of 2015. This is NOK 896 million more than the same period last year and corresponds to an increase of 16 per cent, which is higher than ever.

Continued increase of salmon exports
Norway exported salmon worth a total of NOK 21.9 billion in the first half of 2015. This is the highest export value ever recorded in a first half year report.

Decrease in export of pelagic fish
Norway exported pelagic fish for NOK 2.4 billion in the first half of 2015. This is a decrease of 12 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Best half year ever for Norwegian seafood export
The export value of Norwegian seafood recorded in the first half of 2015 is the highest ever. Norway exported seafood for NOK 34 billion.

Clipfish contributes to record exports in May
With robust growth of NOK 203 million, Norwegian seafood exports set a new record in May this year, with clipfish sales to Portugal the most significant contributor.

Salmon exports stabilize in May
Norway exported salmon worth NOK 3.5 billion in May. This is the same value as in May 2014, according to analysis from the Norwegian Seafood Council.

A new May record for codfish exports
Exports of cod, saithe, haddock and other groundfish totalled NOK 1.03 billion in May, some NOK 216 million more than in May 2014. An increase by value of 27 per cent and a new May record. The record breaking exports in May were mainly dried cod and fresh fish exports.

Norway exported seafood worth NOK 5.4 billion in April. A modest decline of NOK 386 million or 7 per cent compared with April last year.

Reduced Exports of Norwegian Salmon in April 2015
Norway exported salmon worth NOK 3.5 billion in April. This is a decline of NOK 362 million or 9 per cent, year-on-year. Salmon exports so far this year have totalled NOK 14.6 billion. This represents an increase of 1 per cent compared with April 2014.

A Record Month for Norwegian Codfish Exports
Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other ground fish worth NOK 1.16 billion in April. An increase of 33 per cent, or NOK 288 million compared with April 2014. This represents an all time high for April exports of codfish.

New record for Norwegian seafood exports in first quarter 2015
In the first quarter of 2015, Norway exported seafood worth NOK 17.4 billion. This represents an increase of 3 per cent or NOK 445 million compared to the first quarter of 2014. In March, seafood was exported for NOK 6.4 billion – an increase of 13 per cent or NOK 741 million year-on-year.

A strong quarter for Norwegian salmon exports
Norway exported salmon worth a total of NOK 11.2 billion in the first quarter of 2015. This represents an increase of 5 per cent, or NOK 536 million, compared to the first quarter last year. Measured by product weight, 243,300 tonnes of salmon were exported in the first quarter, which corresponds to an increase of 11 per cent year-on-year.

Exceptionally strong first quarter for cod exports
Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other types of whitefish totalling NOK 3.5 billion in the first quarter of 2015. This represents an increase of 4 per cent, or NOK 140 million, compared to the first quarter of last year. This represents an all time high for the first quarter. March also broke records with exports worth NOK 1.35 billion, an increase of 22 per cent year-on-year.
