Norwegian seafood exports grow by 29 per cent in February
Norway exported seafood worth NOK 6.8 billion in February. This is an increase of NOK 1.5 billion or 29 per cent compared with February last year. So far this year, seafood worth NOK 13.6 billion has been exported. This is an increase of NOK 2.6 billion or 24 per cent compared with the same period last year.

Value of Norwegian salmon exports rise sharply
Norway exported salmon worth NOK 4.15 billion in February. This is an increase of 26 per cent or NOK 863 million compared with February last year.

Best month ever for fresh cod from Norway
Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other bottomfish worth NOK 1.3 billion in February, which is 28 per cent or NOK 284 million more than in February 2015. Record exports for fresh products and large exports of frozen cod and haddock are responsible for the growth.

January 2016 a strong strart for Norwegian seafood exports
Norway exported seafood with a value of NOK 6.7 billion in January 2016. This represents an increase of more than NOK 1 billion or 18 per cent year-on-year.

Record value for Norwegian salmon exports in January
Norway exported salmon worth NOK 4.3 billion in January. An increase of 18 per cent or NOK 644 million compared to January 2015. This represents an all-time high for the month of January. Measured by volume, 73,463 tonnes of salmon were exported in January, which is 4 per cent, or 3,300 tonnes less than in January 2015.

Norwegian codfish exports at record levels in January
Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other ground fish worth NOK 1.25 billion in the first month of 2016. This is 11 per cent or NOK 128 million more than during January 2015. Growth is accounted for by a new export record for fresh products, as well as high levels of frozen cod.

Norwegian pelagic exports increase in January
Norway exported pelagic fish worth some NOK 621 million in January. This represents an increase of 24 per cent from January 2015.

Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other whitefish worth NOK 13 billion in 2015. This is 8 per cent or NOK 1 billion more than in 2014, an all time high in terms of export value.

Norwegian pelagic exports reduced in 2015
Norway exported pelagic fish worth NOK 6.9 billion in 2015. A decrease of 7 percent from the year before.

Norwegian salmon and trout exports worth NOK 50 billion in 2015
Norway exported salmon worth NOK 47.7 billion in 2015. This is an increase of 9 per cent or NOK 3.9 billion compared with 2014, and it is the highest export value ever for salmon.

Norway seafood exports more than double in 10 years
Norway exported seafood worth NOK 74.5 billion in 2015. This is 8 per cent, or NOK 5.8 billion, more than the record year of 2014.

A new record year for Norwegian seafood exports
Norway exported seafood worth NOK 7.4 billion in November. An increase of NOK 804 million or 12 per cent compared to November 2014. So far this year, seafood exports have totalled NOK 67.3 billion. An increase of NOK 4.9 billion, or 8 per cent, compared to the same period in 2014.

A strong November for salmon and trout exports
Norway exported salmon worth NOK 4.5 billion in November. An increase of NOK 663 million, or 17 per cent, compared with the same month in 2014. So far this year, salmon exports have totalled NOK 42.7 billion. This is NOK 3.2 billion, or 8 per cent higher than during the same period last year.

Pelagic exports stable in November
Norway exported herring, mackerel and other pelagic fish worth NOK 1.1 billion in November. This is at approximately the same level as November 2014, but slightly decreased by 1 per cent, or NOK 13 million. So far this year, exports of herring, mackerel and other pelagic fish from Norway have totalled NOK 6.4 billion. This marks a decline of 7 per cent compared with the same period in 2014.

Record Norwegian codfish exports in November
Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other groundfish worth NOK 1.17 billion in November. This represents an increase of 2 per cent, or NOK 18.6 million compared to November 2014. November represents an all time high for export value. So far this year, codfish exports have totalled NOK 11.9 billion, NOK 1 billion higher than during the same period in 2014.

Norwegian seafood exports for October break NOK 8 billion for the first time
Norwegian seafood exports exceeded NOK 8.1 billion in October. This is an increase of NOK 546 million or 7 per cent compared with October 2014. This is the first time Norway has exported seafood worth more than NOK 8 billion in a single month. So far this year, seafood exports have totalled NOK 60 billion. An increase of NOK 4.1 billion or 7 per cent compared with the same period in 2014.

October a record month for Norwegian salmon exports
Norway salmon exports totalled almost NOK 4.7 billion in October. An increase of NOK 720 million, or 18 per cent year-on-year. This also represents an all time high for salmon export sales in a single month. So far this year, Norwegian salmon exports have totalled NOK 38.3 billion. This is an increase of NOK 2.6 billion, or 7 per cent, compared to the same period in 2014.

Norwegian codfish exports remain strong in October despite downturn
Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other groundfish to a value of NOK 1.28 billion in October. This represents a small decline of NOK 51 million, or 4 per cent from October 2014. Total exports by volume were 34,658 tonnes of cod, saithe, haddock and other groundfish. This is some 17 per cent lower than October 2014. Clipfish and frozen fish exports were also reduced.

Norwegian pelagic exports reduced in October
Norway exported herring, mackerel and other pelagic fish to a value of NOK 1.5 billion in October. This represents a decrease of NOK 208 million, or 12 per cent, compared with October 2014. Year to date, exports of herring, mackerel and other pelagic fish from Norway totalled NOK 5.3 billion. This is a decrease of 8 per cent compared with the same period in 2014.
